Dan Grading April 2023

The next NIJF Dan Grade Promotional Examination will take place on Sunday 30^th April 2023.

Venue : Campbell College (small hall) BT4 2ND

The grading is open to 1^st Kyu (brown belt) judoka and above. For male Dan grades it will be a Multi-grade event where 1^st Dan players can compete against higher Dan grades. A win against the same or higher grade is worth 10 points and 5 points for a win against lower grades. For women this is extended to 1^st Kyu judoka.

If a female Dan grade scores ippon against a 1^st Kyu  5 points are awarded but 10 points from the same or higher grade. Only Ippon scores will count towards promotion. Only ippon scores count towards promotion.

Judoka wishing to take part in this grading must have an ‘in date’ Judo licence and pre-register by completing the online registration form below.

PLEASE NOTE: Pre-registration online ends 12.00pm on 27th April 2023. Any entries on the day will be charged at £30.00 per person

If there are insufficient entries in a category this fee will be reduced or refunded. Refunds however will not be issued for any other reason including injury, illness or any other reason.
