Child Protection and First Aid Course
January 25 @ 10:00 am - 4:30 pm
On the 25th of January we are staging a Child Protection and Safeguarding workshop, followed by a First Aid Course.
Taking place in Carnmoney Primary School.
The day will include learning about:
- The importance of Safeguarding
- Understanding legislation and responsibilities
- Reporting, policies and procedures
- Your role as a Designated Safeguarding Officer
- Creating a safe and welcoming club
The morning will cover the qualification for Child Protection & Safeguarding from 10am to 1pm.
The afternoon will cover Sports Specific first aid from 1.30pm to 4.30pm.
Certificates will be issued on the day.
The cost of the course is £15 per person, per course paid in cash on the day. The price of the First Aid is also £15 per person, also paid in cash.

How to sign up…
Things to note:
- This course is only available to connections of affiliated NIJF clubs
- You will need to provide your own lunch if attending the whole day
- This counts towards re-validation for any NIJF based coaches
- You must arrive 15 minutes before the start for registration
