Membership (known as a licence) to the Northern Ireland Judo Federation is required if you are training in an affiliated club.
It is your pathway to accredited gradings (learning the skills for coloured belts), competing if you want to and most importantly insuring you to take part in Judo.

Some of the clubs in Northern Ireland aren’t affiliated to the NIJF, so it’s important to check if you are thinking of joining a club.
