A full day of judo, challenge, achievement and unforgettable moments and this year it includes Dan Grades!
Northern Ireland’s most exciting spring judo event is back — and this year promises more action, more development opportunities, and more unforgettable moments for judoka of all ages.
On Sunday 10th May 2026, competitors from across the province will step onto the tatami at the superb Foyle Arena,, ready to test their skills, build confidence, and chase a place on the podium.
This year, based on feedback from our membership we have added Dan grades as well!

Why This Event Stands Out
Balanced Groups for Every Judoka
Players are grouped by age, weight and grade, ensuring competitive, well‑matched contests that support development at every level.
Small Pools = More Fights
With a maximum of six competitors per pool, every judoka gets multiple contests — ideal for experience, learning, and progression.
Medals in Every Group
Each pool awards Gold, Silver and two Bronzes, giving every competitor a real chance to shine.
Who Can Enter?
Mini & Maximon (Ages 8–14)
- Minimum grade: Red Belt – 1st Mon (min weight 25kg)
- Ideal for young judoka gaining competition experience
Kyu Grades (15+)
- Open to 6th Kyu to 2nd Kyu
- Armlocks and strangles are permitted for Green & Blue belts
1st Kyu & Dan Grades
- Full points‑scoring event!
- Bring your licence and points card
