Safeguarding & Designated Officer Workshop

Russell Brown, our Lead Designated Protection Officer will be staging a safeguarding course on Sunday the 6th December in the location of St. Mary’s High School.

Session One Safeguarding Awareness

Starting at 10.00am (registration open from 9.30am), the day will start with the safeguarding course, which will cover all the aspects you need to know for safeguarding in and out of the club environment along with current legislation.

This certification is mandatory for coaching validity.

Designated Officers Session Two

It is mandatory now that clubs have a designated officer for safeguarding.

This course will empower that person to perform the role with the knowledge and support they need.

This course will run from 1.30pm to 4.30pm.

All attendees to both sessions receive a certificate for coach revalidation purposes if required.

Bring your own refreshments.

There are only 20 places available for each session.

Both sessions are £15 each and payable in cash only on the day, but you must pre register below.
