🔥 Special Announcement — 28th February Session

The 28th February session is going to be something special.

⭐ Dan Powell is leading the day.

The Pathway session will run from 10am to 12pm.

A world‑class technician, World champion and Paralympic Silver Medallist with a signature style built on movement, timing, and intelligent pressure — and he’s bringing that expertise straight onto the mat for our Pathway players.

Expect a deep dive into:

• dynamic leg movement
• full‑body engagement
• creating reactions that open scoring opportunities
• generating power and precision through clean, efficient mechanics

All of it geared toward one thing: throwing for Ippon — every time.

Dan has said he will be bringing his medals for photo opportunities, and may even jump in for some Randori at the end, so this is your chance to get to grips with a World Champion!

Coaching Conference 10am – 3.30pm

Its also all about the coaches:

The morning session will include some incredible learning and compliance opportunities:

• 10:30am Anti-Doping presentation to ensure compliance on all things
• 11:15am White Ribbon NI Presentation (White Ribbon NI aims to challenge attitudes and talk about the impact of violence against women and girls through engaging workshops)
• 12.15pm – 1.00pm Lunch (please bring your own lunch and water for the day)

Then in the afternoon…

Dan will then lead a dedicated Coaching Conference session on the mats, giving coaches his direct insight into the principles behind his winning judo style.

This is a rare chance to learn from one of the best, with practical, adaptable concepts that will strengthen our shared coaching language across the province.

• The session will finish at 3:30pm
• You will need a Judogi

💷 Mat Fee for Pathway & Academy

£6 per player — payable on the day (card not available).

£10 per person and via booking below (club volunteers and officials are also welcome) and bookings close midday 26th Feb.
