Former Olympian Chloe Cowen-Vickers will be leading female judo classes to aspiring females who want to try Judo, in two venues in Northern Ireland.
The best thing is, it’s FREE!
These taster sessions will be held on the 15th June in the Foyle Arena and on the 16th June in the Grove Leisure Centre, both starting at 1pm.
These classes are part of the NI Judo Federation’s drive to attract more people into Judo and especially females, with the future goal of enabling more women players onto the talent squads and development programs as well as showcasing the wellbeing angle of Judo to women of all ages.
The sessions are open to any females who are 8 years old or over and not currently a member of a Judo club.
Vicki Kennedy, from the NIJF said:
“Having someone like Chloe coming over to Northern Ireland offers a fantastic opportunity for all females whether they are sport minded or not. The sessions are tailored to all levels and Chloe is excellent at making the sessions fun as well as highlighting how judo can be a benefit to females.”
If you want to register your place you can contact Vicki at cwo@www.nijudo.com but please note that spaces are reserved on a first reply basis.
